Can I attend both camps if I want more training?
Yes! Players can choose to attend both camps, learning even more. While some core themes overlap, each camp offers unique content, different guest coaches, and training tailored to the group’s levels, so you’ll benefit from fresh insights and continuous progress with repetitions and new content to learn.
Can all levels apply for both camps?
Yes, we welcome players of all levels and ages (16+). Whether you're a beginner or an advanced player, our camp is designed to support your development. We train in small groups, mixing players based on skill level and goals to ensure everyone is challenged appropriately. This approach allows each participant to improve at their own pace and get the most out of the 6-day camp experience.
Will camp 1 and 2 be the same training content?
Camp 1 and Camp 2 will not be exactly the same, but they will share many of the same core themes. While the overall focus areas will overlap, each camp is tailored to the level and needs of the players attending. The structure and timing of sessions may vary, and different guest coaches will be featured in each camp - bringing fresh perspectives and unique insights to every experience. This approach allows players who attend both camps to build on previous content through repetition while also gaining new knowledge.
How many hours per day do we train?
We train between 3 to 4 sessions per day, with each session lasting around 2 hours. The focus is on high-quality, structured on-court training, but we also incorporate valuable off-court activities. These include tactical discussions, match analysis, yoga for recovery, and flexibility. To keep the experience well-rounded and enjoyable, we also plan social activities—like a group visit to Tivoli - so players can relax, connect, and recharge between training sessions.
If this feels overwhelming, you can take a few breaks to refresh your body and regain energy.
Will I have time to rest or explore the area?
The camp is focused on training, so most of the schedule is spent on court or in related activities. That said, there is a bit of downtime, and if you’d like to take a walk on the beach, explore the area, or do some sightseeing, you're more than welcome to. We encourage players to listen to their bodies and take the rest they need.
What should I expect from a typical training day?
A typical day includes 3 to 4 on-court training sessions lasting around 2 hours each, focusing on technique, tactics, footwork and match training. Sessions also include off-court activities like yoga, tactical workshops, and recovery time. Evenings often include social activities such as visits to local attractions like Tivoli, giving you a balanced mix of training, learning, and fun.
Is food included during the camp?
Yes, all meals are included during the camp. We eat together at the on-site restaurant, which provides nutritious meals tailored to support your training and recovery. A few times during the week, we also go out to eat as a group at local restaurants to enjoy a change of scenery—and if the weather is good, we’ll make the most of it with outdoor dining and social time. It's all part of the camp experience!
Is accommodation included in the camp fee?
Accommodation is not included in the camp fee. We offer nearby options, including hostels, motels, and suggestions for Airbnb stays. You can choose where to stay through our registration links above, and our free shuttle service connects all these locations with the training venue.
Can I pay in installments?
You will need to make a full payment at the time of booking to secure your spot. We recommend booking early as spaces are limited. We offer approximately 40 spots for each camp.
How do I get to the venue from the Hostel, Motel and AirBnB?
We provide a free shuttle bus every morning and evening to and from the venue. There are designated pickup points, including the official hostel and motel. If you're staying at an Airbnb or another hotel, you can easily join the shuttle from either the hostel, the motel, or Karlslunde Station. We aim to make transport simple and convenient so you can focus entirely on your training.
Can I get my money back if I get injured just before the camp?
Yes, we offer a partial refund policy depending on how close it is to the camp start date. If you get injured or need to cancel, you’ll receive a full refund up to 60 days before the camp begins. If you cancel between 45 and 60 days before the start, we refund 50% of the camp fee. Unfortunately, within 45 days of the camp, we’re unable to offer a refund due to fixed costs and planning.
What happens if I get injured during the camp?
If you sustain an injury, we can access local medical facilities and help coordinate treatment. Our coaching team also provides guidance on injury prevention and recovery. We plan to arrange sessions with a physiotherapist who will offer treatment at your own expense at the venue. Availability and timeslots are not guaranteed.
Am I covered by insurance if I get injured or sick during the camp?
We do not offer insurance, so it is the player’s own responsibility to have valid health or travel insurance for the duration of the camp. That said, Denmark has one of the best public healthcare systems in the world, and medical help is easily accessible. In case of serious illness or injury, emergency care will be provided promptly.
🇩🇰 A note on Denmark’s healthcare system:
- EU/EEA Citizens: If you bring your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), you'll get access to necessary medical treatment on the same terms as Danish citizens.
- Non-EU/EEA Citizens: You're not automatically covered, so private travel insurance is strongly recommended.
- Emergency care (e.g. ambulance, ER) is typically provided first and billed later if you're uninsured.
Do I need to be fully vaccinated to attend?
Currently, there are no specific vaccination requirements to attend the camp, but we recommend staying up to date with any local health guidelines and considering vaccinations for your own safety and the safety of others.
