Below we have selected some key matches, and made our predictions on the winner:
Mens Doubles:
Mads Kolding & Mads Conrad (DEN) vs. Tang Qiang/He Jiting (CHN)
Winner: Mads Kolding & Mads Conrad
– Head 2 head: 0-0
– See head 2 head and player profiles here
Mads and Mads very strong at the moment, think young China will play Denmark good, meaning they will play hard on everything, and that is what Denmark wants, but let’s see tomorrow.
Womens singles:
Gregoria Mariska Tunjung (INA) vs. Chen Yufei (CHN)
Winner: Chen Yufei
– Head 2 head: 1-1
– See head 2 head and player profiles here
Chen Yufeu just to strong and playing home. Lately Chen´s level top of the world, and think she will do really well this week going for at least a bronze medal and maybe more.

Mens Doubles:
Teo ee Yi/Ong Yew Sin (MAL) vs. Goh V Shem/Tan Wee Kiong (MAL)
Winner: Goh V Shem/Tan Wee Kiong
– Head 2 head: 0-2
– See head 2 head and player profiles here
Who is best in Malaysia? Well we think Goh and Tan is. Always tricky with these national matches, but think they will play “free” and go for the win.

The “not so impossible” ones:
Mens Doubles:
Kim Astrup/Anders Skaarup Rasmussen (DEN) vs. Chirag Shetty/Satwiksairaj Rankireddy (IND)
Winner: Chirag Shetty/Satwiksairaj Rankireddy
– Head 2 head: 1-0
– See head 2 head and player profiles here
Very tight match, India looking strong and Denmark´s first match in the tournament, will be tight we think, and not impossible for a small surprise here if India takes it.

Mens Singles:
Wang Tzu Wei (TPE) vs. Brice Leverdez (FRA)
Winner: Brice Leverdez
– Head 2 head: 1-0 (but 2 years back)
– See head 2 head and player profiles here
Dont think Wang is that big of a favorite, as the sports sites says he is. Think Brice level and form lately is better than Wangs, and can win this and go through. Can go to 3 sets and an even match, but Brice top level better at the moment.

Will be back tomorrow with more match predictions, over and out…
