Purpose of the newsletter
The purpose of the newsletter is to give you the latest and most interesting stories about international badminton.
What is my data used for?
When you sign up for the newsletter and give us data about yourself, e.g. your name, your physical address or your email address, we reserve the right to use that data. We use the data submitted by you to give you a better service so that you can receive news on topics, which are of interest to you and fit your profile.
We may send you an explanatory email if there are changes with respect to the newsletter itself (for example changes in mail frequency, changes in areas of interest or similar changes).
Newsletters can be used for advertisement – both for Badminton Famly purposes, but also in relation business partners such as sponsors, advertisers, etc.
How often will I receive the newsletter?
Generally, we will send you the newsletter when we have something new to tell you. So the email frequency will differ depending on the change and news within the sport.
We strive to limit the number of newsletters but the more interests you have signed up for the more often you will receive a newsletter.
Is my data secure and confidential?
The data we record about you is kept strictly confidential. It will not be sold or disclosed to third parties.
Mailchimp
If you sign up for our newsletter, which is administered through Mailchimp, or if you register for our site, we will store some of your information, including your email address, IP address and certain information about the links you click within the emails we send you, on a Mailchimp server. Neither we nor Mailchimp will ever sell your email address or share it with any other party, unless we are legally compelled to do so. If you contact Mailchimp directly regarding your subscription to our newsletter, Mailchimp may contact you directly; otherwise, Mailchimp will never contact you. Only authorized Mailchimp employees have access to our subscriber list. You are always free to unsubscribe from our newsletter, but as long as you are registered with Badminton Famly we may use Mailchimp to send you information about your account.
Can I change my data or unsubscribe?
You can change your personal data or chosen areas of interest or unsubscribe the newsletter entirely at any time. You do this from the links provided in our newsletter. When unsubscribed your data will be deleted within reasonable time.
