Former world number two is working hard to get back on top. But the Dane is patient and just happy about being back on court. Next week, we’ll all see him in China Open.

It has been a while since we’ve seen the Dane Jan O Jorgensen on court challenging the best. Injuries have been a big issue for the former world number two. But now, Jorgensen is ready to climb his way back to the top.

Despite the Dane is far from his usual ranking, the first goal for Jorgensen is to enter top 32. And according to Jorgensen, he is not stressed about reaching that goal.

“I will get there. It’s just a matter of when. So, I will take it as it comes. Right now, I just want to play, and I need tournaments,” Jorgensen says to Danish media TV2.

And next week he has secured himself a ticket to the draw in China Open. News which was well received by the Dane.

“It means a lot. It is very important for me to collect points. I am just outside the top 32, but very close. I don’t need so many results to get back in, so this is of course just another chance. It’s great.” Jan O Jorgensen says to Danish media TV2.

We wish Jan O Jorgensen all the best.
