The ace in the Indonesian pack, Sukamuljo and Gideon, showed signs of weakness in their match today. They did not manage to beat the Thai duo Namdash & Phuangphuapet when Indonesia faced Thailand at Thomas Cup
Service fault called!
The Indonesian pair got off to a bad start, and they seemed overwhelmed by an incredible well-prepared and well-performing Namdash & Phuangphuapet.
The troubles for the Indonesian duo was intensified by the rulings of the service umpire. Gideon was several times ruled by the service umpire for fault service, which created obvious frustration for the Indonesian duo. This resulted in defeat in the first set 21-16.

But after the first set, the world number 1 got back on track in the second set winning by 21-13.
But in the deciding set, a well-playing Thai duo showed to be too strong for Sukamuljo and Gideon and equalized the match to 1-1 winning the set by 21- 12.
The Indonesian duo must pick up their game, if Indonesia should have any chance of taking home the Thomas Cup trophy.
